Brighten Your Smile with Safe, Professional Whitening Treatments
One kind of quick fix I’ll say to give a patient a radiant smile would be to whiten your teeth. A lot of times you know our teeth will just kind of stain over time whether we’re coffee drinkers or just kind of tends to lose that shine. We have a few different whitening options and it is really a quick fix.
It just can help brighten your smile and regain confidence. For whitening options we have a product called Opalescence Go! Trays and it’s a fantastic product. A lot of our staff utilize it.
One of the really nice things is it is kind of fits like a mouth guard almost. So it fits over your teeth. It’s not just a strip that tries to lay on top of the teeth and it stays adhered really nicely.
You only have to wear them for 15 minutes. If you forget and you leave them in longer no harm. The whitening solution is done up.
There is a nice component in there to help with sensitivity. So honestly leaving them in a little longer might help you. Everyone has different levels of sensitivity while they whiten and it’s really nice that this product has that component in there to help with that.
The other option we have that’s a take-home option would be to make custom bleaching trays. The bleach syringes that we give they’re just a little higher strength than what you can typically find just out you know online or something like that and they’re really nice options. There’s different levels.
A lot of patients come to know what level whitening they get. We typically will start a newer patient on the lower level again due to that sensitivity. We don’t want it to be an uncomfortable experience if it’s something that you’re excited about.
And lastly we have our in-office whitening called Zoom. That one does create the most sensitivity so we have a consultation with the patient first. They’re coming in.
We’re going over what to expect. We’re also dispensing a special toothpaste that’s to be used for two weeks leading up to that appointment. The toothpaste is just helping with that sensitivity.
And the great thing with the in-office whitening is you are coming in. You are sitting in a relaxing comfortable chair. You are here for a couple of hours but you are leaving with a bright white smile.
There’s no compliance at home. A lot of patients they do not use the bleaching trays for 10 consecutive days. It’s a tough habit to get into and so we have a lot of patients that just want to come in get it done.
And the really nice thing with Zoom is you also get the bleaching trays. You get to go home. You can maintain.
You can keep up as needed. But the big thing is you came in and you’re leaving with that white smile.
