Alex N. talks about how happy she is getting great treatment from Doctor Maggie Ernst Read Transcript

So I was the first person to see Dr. Maggie in my family. And I really enjoyed how, like, bright and cheerful she is, and she's always just so welcoming. And so I've just really enjoyed coming to see her.

And Dr. Maggie does a great job of explaining everything in detail. I feel like I've spent more time at the dentist’s than the average person over the years. And so I definitely liked things to be explained and like, understand what's going on, especially for more in-depth procedures or getting more dental work done just beyond the average teeth cleaning.

And she's always super helpful and willing to answer any questions. And she never lets me leave here without feeling at ease with what's to come. She's always super outgoing and friendly and can always make the difficult day as they're in here – they're not the most fun – so a little more bright and cheerful.

Alex N. talks about the friendly inviting atmosphere of Bell Dental Group Read Transcript

So I started coming here about a year ago. And I just recently moved, so I needed to find dental care facility that basically was going to accommodate where I was living and all of my needs. I've known pretty much since I was 13 that I would have to get veneers, and I've had bonding care up until then. So I was trying to find not only two dentists but someone that offered care for veneers, and definitely find one that was welcoming and super helpful, encouraging, a safe place, because getting your teeth reconstructed can definitely be a little intimidating.

Actually, my dad started coming here, and I was still in the process of looking somewhere. And he highly recommended it. It's in a really great community, for one. It's definitely, like, a safe place, and it's very welcoming. It's a smaller practice, but I definitely think that it makes it more of like a family. They work really well together. You can definitely tell they all have great relationships with each other, and I think that's definitely important in terms of the way they work together, so that they work well together on the care that you're receiving.

Dave F. talks about the quality of care is top notch at Bell Dental Group Read Transcript

I like coming to this practice because they treat you individually. People are always in a good mood. Even on Monday mornings, I'm usually one of the first people that comes in the door, and everybody's always smiling, seem to be happy to be here. The quality of care has been exceptional. I've had the old silver fillings. I didn't come in here one day and he said, "Okay, you've got silver. We're going to remove them all," but it's been more of a holistic approach. He looked at my teeth, looked at my mouth, he took pictures of my face so that the care has been to try to make it, there's been a long-term plan, and when it's finished that it will fit me. I won't just look like I've got false teeth shoved in my mouth. The care and the plan are very well thought out, and so far we're not 100 percent finished, but the execution has been something I've been very happy with.

Dr. Chuck is an interesting guy. He's very friendly, very knowledgeable. I guess the thing I like about him the best is he really takes time to make sure that I understand what's going to happen, and no surprises. That they treat you as an individual. They care about you as a person. They know who you are when you walk in the door. The service has been impeccable and pretty simple, but that's all I can ask for in a dentist.

Julia R. talks about her decision to get a Dental Bridge Read Transcript

So I had a back tooth that was already root canaled, and then I had a tooth that needed to be pulled because I cracked the crown underneath my gum. We went through the different options, and I was really nervous about a bridge because when I thought about bridge, I thought about people taking their teeth out of their mouth, putting them into a little cup of water, or this big gold tooth that's going to sit in the back of your mouth.

And he showed me his. He's like, "Can you tell?" I'm like, "No."

That made me really comfortable, and they just kind of showed me a video and then came back again to explain anything I need to understand better. Just, again, really walked me through the process of what that looks like, what it means, to kind of ease that fear of thinking of, "Oh, gosh, I'm going to be that person, you know, at my age pulling out teeth and putting them in water."

So I felt truly comfortable. I'm happy I got it done. It's great, it's comfortable, and they look just like regular teeth. So, can't complain.

Julia R. talks about the great care she receives at Bell Dental Group Read Transcript

When I moved to Cincinnati about 10 years ago, I was still traveling back to Michigan to get my teeth cleaned and all that good stuff because I had not found someone that I trusted here. I tried a couple of dentists here, and I was not happy. Friend referred me to Dr. Dave, and I was pleasantly surprised at the service, how nice they were and then how thorough they are. Everyone here is very nice, very welcoming, and Dr. Dave himself is extremely nice. He remembers me, he remembers things I talked about from a six-month cleaning. I had a lot of issues that I was correcting from college when I did not go to dentists like I should. So he developed a treatment plan, Dr. David developed a treatment plan for me to get me through so many years to go ahead and get everything corrected. So I've had quite a few things done, some old work fixed, but it was always done at my best interest, not at the doctor's best interest, but what works best for me and my finances and my schedule. So it's really, they were kind of amazing.

Julia R. talks about how she felt comfortable working with Bell Dental Group Read Transcript

While in college I failed to go to the dentist, so all of my old cavities had cavities underneath, and I had a dentist when I first moved here that was just fixing them, but he was not very nice about it. And I was referred to by a friend to come and see Dr. Dave at Bell Dental Group, and he didn't attack me or fuss at me for not going to the dentist like I'm supposed to. He sat down and went through everything on my X-ray, explained to me why they need all of the old fillings replaced, and then some of the new issues that had begun to start because I had not done what I was supposed to do. And then developed a really good dental plan to make sure that I continue the path in the right way.

“What kind of toothbrush do you use?” and “What kind of mouthwash do you use?” and things like that. He actually introduced me to the little pluckers that made it easier for me to floss because I'm not the best flosser in the world. So just kind of educating me again on what I need to do to correct some things that happened before, to continue getting the right kind of care, and my home treatment to make sure that I continue on that right path.

Kelly M. talks about her new bridge and personalized care at Bell Dental Group Read Transcript

Actually, my friend's friend, Tiffany, a girl that works here, and he said, “You should come to Bell Dental. They're really good.” I told her my situation, that this bridge is 20 years old and it was not going to last. It was, my front teeth were spreading apart. She's like, "Come in. Just do a consult, talk to him." That's exactly what I did.

He gave me a good 45 minutes, hour, said what he could do, and then told me, “Let's set up another appointment to come back in, and it's going to probably be different facial pictures.” I mean, he did everything from A to Z to kind of match my eye color with my teeth. He just really made me feel comfortable. Then I came back, he did that did, took the old bridge out, made sure everything was healthy, got the impressions, and they put in a temporary. It was about a four-hour process. But came back, got the final beautiful teeth, and have been happy ever since. I mean, the process, it took a good three or four appointments, but he was just thorough. I never felt uncomfortable. Everything was great. I love him.

Kelly M. talks about how her confidence in her smile has completely changed Read Transcript

Well, I was born without the two teeth up here and actually three on the bottom. So I have a bridge on the bottom too. So that's next that Dr. Bell will have to probably replace. And then I got braces, so they made spots for where those teeth were missing. So I have always had some kind of Maryland bridge or some type of flapper that had something with teeth on it. So either I'd take them out at night, but eventually the bridges started getting more advanced. And then 20 years ago, they put it in but in two pieces, and they were metal too. So when that tooth fell off, it was just a constant headache of trying to keep it together, and the dentist were like, “Why did it” – like Dr. Bell said – “why did they put it in two pieces?" You know? I can't say enough how happy I am, but I just feel more confident about smiling, eating, and in general. I mean, I was always afraid of it breaking off. It was a constant reminder. And then pictures, you'd look and the space would get bigger and bigger.

At Bell Dental Group, you can expect excellence, great customer care, over-the-top friendly people to take care of you. They go above and beyond. They'll fit you in any time if you have anything that needs, you feel is not right. Excellent. Excellent. I loved it. I loved the whole experience. I loved them.

Mary Jo S. talks about the attentive care Doctor Maggie Ernst offers Read Transcript

Dr. Maggie, for me, is almost like a family member to me. She makes you feel that much at home. She takes the time to address your needs. She listens to you. She's very personable. They make you feel relaxed, is what I'm saying. She's a great doctor to work with because she always makes you feel at ease. This one front crown came off a couple of times with flossing and things, and she always took me in right away. She was able to put on what she would term “stronger glue” and make it work for me, but she always saw me and she actually came in one time on her day off because she wanted to make sure that what I was having done was the way she wanted it done. So, that was pretty cool.

Sanford P. talks about how comfortable and terrific Doctor Dave’s work is Read Transcript

Dr. Dave's chairside manner is phenomenal. It really is. Their team is phenomenal as well. Dr. Dave is very clear on what needs to be done. I am very far from a doctor or a dentist, but he has the ability to tell you prior to what the procedure's going to be and give you a little comfort where this is all leading and what the outcome will be.

What I think is so unique about this practice, Bell Dental Group, is the fact that I think they communicate so efficiently. They're always talking to each other. Communication is so key. They're all one happy team. They're very welcoming. The follow-up after my procedure, I get a call from Dr. Dave right after: "How are you doing? What's going on?"

I would say the quality of care at Bell Dental Group and with Dr. Dave is second to none. I think it's very important to have especially teeth. I mean, you live with them your whole life. It's such an integral part of who you are. So I had to learn to smile because for years I couldn't really smile with any confidence. So he's given me that confidence when I do, and I'm not an ego guy. I've never walked away from a practice the way I have from Bell Dental Group. Phenomenal.

Tiffany B on her Veneer process Read Transcript

It was one of those things when I approached them they came up, we talked about a bunch of different solutions, but they came up with the best solution for me, which was to put veneers on. Actually, I guess it's more than just veneers. I think they did an implant on one and then they did veneers on the other one.

I didn't want somebody to look at me and say, "Oh, she's got veneers." I think that after partnering with him and him listening to me and realizing what my lifestyle was like, we ended up in a really, really good place. I feel like I have a very natural looking smile that is perfected. It's kind of perfectly imperfect, if you will.

I had had lots of work up until this point, so coming into get something perfected was the least of the dental work that I had ever had done. I will say, I mean the fact that they ... I think especially when you're going through that much of a process with them, that big of a project, if you will, the fact that they prioritize you, they get you in, they make sure that you're really happy with what you're going to get. They have those hard conversations with you about how white do you want to go. They want to make sure that what you get at the end of the day is really what you want and that you're thinking about all of those things. They're not just going to give you exactly what you want. They're going to have those conversations with you so that you really think about the process because it's a big investment.

Sharon T on why she chose to come to Bell Dental Group Read Transcript

Well, I was going to another dentist and I wasn't very happy with the service that he was providing and so I looked online and found this place, and fortunately it turned out to be one of the best dentists I've ever been to. And from the moment you step through the door everybody's friendly, they know who you are, they make it just so comfortable and Dr. Maggie's just amazing. She's a perfectionist, she's very knowledgeable, very friendly, very gentle, and it's almost a pleasure to come here. She's just very professional, extremely professional, very knowledgeable, she knows if something's not quite right and she won't stop until it's perfect. Just in being with her, working with her, I almost feel like we're friends; she's very professional, very caring, very gentle, and very diligent in her profession.

Sharon T on the efficiency of getting her Veneers Read Transcript

Well, I've had a lot of dental work in the past because when I grew up, we didn't have fluoride, so I had cavities. So I wanted everything to be more uniform and the more I thought about it, I was thinking about just doing the partial front or bottom. Then I just decided that just wouldn't be enough for me because I like things to be just right too. So she showed me several pictures and explained the process. We talked about the finances and I just decided, "What the heck? I'm gonna do it," and I did and I'm very happy. I would say that the time frame once the appointment's scheduled, the first time you would be here for just about a day, so if you were doing the bottom half. Then when you come back, that bottom half will be done within a day and when they do the temporaries, they look better than what you had before. So there's no transition when you're at work or at home. The temporaries turned out so well, I went to my daughter's wedding and nobody even noticed.

So, you're kind of worried about, "Oh, what's gonna happen in between?" They did such an amazing job that nobody even noticed. I had all temporaries on the top for my daughter's wedding, but the process was very, very efficient. To me, it's the best dentist practice that I've ever been to. Everybody's just friendly and knowledgeable, nice. They take their time. They don't make you wait. They don't rush anything that they're doing, so I would highly recommend this practice and Dr. Maggie to my friends or my family.

Shane M on getting his Veneers Read Transcript

I had recently had veneers done, these top eight here and then a couple on the bottom. It's actually a lot more intense than you would think, but over the course of one to two months got them all fixed up. I previously had bonding on the front four of my teeth from when I was younger, so I had the option either do the bonding again or go with the veneers, which are permanent. I decided to do the veneers, and I love them. I've gone to a couple [inaudible 00:00:30] places, actually, so I can compare for people. This place catered a lot more to you being like a family member as opposed to like just a client, because the other guy that I went to previously, he tried to rush me into doing something I didn't want to do. I actually scheduled the appointment and I went in there, and I backed out when I got there because I realized it was something different than was explained to me.

They're really good at explaining things and making you feel like you're making the right decision. That's what I would say to anybody that is trying to look into veneers about coming here, at least. Then, on top of that, like I said before, they're just all extremely friendly. They really are. Dr. Dave is great, and the support staff is great, too. They make everything really comfortable and at home.

Ruth Z on Invisalign and Veneers Read Transcript

My teeth were very worn. My front teeth, particularly my upper teeth, were very thin. I had had braces when I was 12 years old, but back then, they did nothing. So he suggested Invisalign. Well, they don't hurt. People don't know that you have them on. It was very easy, because I didn't worry about ... Obviously, you take them out to eat. I think I had them about two years, two and a half years.

Once they were straight, I didn't like how short they were. They were very ... I had had a lot of fillings. I did not get good teeth. Once I got going with that, I knew that I would go to the veneers. I wasn't sure exactly how that would be done, but they were really good about explaining it. It's like, you get a nice pat on the shoulder when he comes in. I trust him. I feel a lot better about my teeth since I've had the Invisalign and veneers.

I keep coming back here because I like the people here, and I feel like they're more than competent and keep up with everything. They know what they're doing, and that's important to me.

Patricia W on the simple process of getting her Veneers Read Transcript

So I had a chipped front tooth, and as I became older, it started to discolor. So, we talked about, how can we improve the smile in terms of what that tooth was gonna look like in comparison to the rest of my front teeth. So we looked at Veneers as an option, and really it was pretty easy in terms of the process you go through, and made just a dramatic difference in terms of my smile.

What they do is, they really explain to you the process and the timeline, so you know exactly what to expect. And then, they also share with you some of the other patient experiences, both from where they started and where they ended up, so you have a realistic view in terms of the process and what you should expect. Really, it was a pretty easy process. I've had other dental work, whether it be root canals or extractions or implants, and those are far more invasive and require a lot more from the patient in terms of transition. But really, the Veneer piece is easier than getting your teeth cleaned.

I don't have to worry now when I smile how the sun shines on my teeth, is there a discoloration ... I really just got a very seamless, beautiful smile. Dr. Chuck and Dr. Dave have a long history of really over-delivering and satisfying to all of their patients, and that's why they are and have been two of the top dentists in Cincinnati for a really long time. So, I would wholeheartedly recommend them for all of their dental needs.

Ogleka B on why she chose Invisalign and the convenience of Invisalign Read Transcript

I chose to go with Invisalign because I felt like the traditional braces would hurt so bad. I heard about stories, cutting inside your lips and going to the dentist to have to get them tightened. I just couldn't see myself going with metal brackets in. So I decided to go with something a little more cleaner, so I went with the Invisaligns.

I had an overbite. I had ... I'd stick my tongue through my teeth when I smiled, so when I came here, they did the digital headshot or whatever, and he showed me what my teeth would look like after I get my Invisalign. So I said, "It's a go." And ever since then, I like to smile but I like to smile more, so, yeah.

Nobody knows that up until I came in and got a new set and I had put my old ones in a little package that they gave me, and I was working and they fell out of my pocket and they had my name on the package. So nobody know I had them until somebody picked them up, they was like, "Where is Ogleka? She dropped something." And they was like, "What is this?" I said, "They are my Invisalign." They was like, "You got braces?" I say, "Yeah." So that's the only reason people knew I had them.

I always like to smile but, like I said, once my teeth got straightened it was like you couldn't stop me from smiling for anything. It was just the best thing.

Niki F on finding Bell Dental Group Read Transcript

I guess it was 52 years I went to the same dentist. Then when they said, "Well, we can't take your insurance." I kind of was like, well, I'm a lifetime member here, loyalty doesn't matter? Like, any kind of discount? They were like, "We're really sorry, but without the insurance it's going to be really expensive." So I looked around just on the internet for somebody local. Drove by, and then I actually came in here because I wanted to get a sense of what the office was like. You can tell a lot about the upkeep, if the lobby looks nice and you walk into a dentist office and it looks really old and dated, then it probably is. So I came in, I checked it out first. Didn't say anything, just looked around. I was like, "All right." So I gave them a call and I think I just started with a teeth cleaning just to see.

It was like love at first sight. I really liked these guys. Everybody was very friendly, everybody seemed to all get along, all the team members here. Dr. Maggie, she definitely is very happy here and happy with what she does. It's kind of infectious, I think, with people that work with her, and even the patients. The crown was a little scary, I admit. But they were like, "We can put headphones on you and you can watch TV and you can zone out. And we're going to do it as fast as possible." I think, too, they keep very current on their equipment, it seems like. You know, I tell people, because people will say, "Oh my gosh! I love your teeth." Or whatever. Of course, I'm self conscious of them, but other people make comments and they'll say, "Who do you go to?" I'll say, "Bell Dental Group is really good." But I said, "Listen, these guys make you feel so comfortable, I would rather go to them than to go get a new haircut."

Jill H on getting Zoom! Whitening Read Transcript

I had the Zoom Whitening done on my front teeth. First of all they paint a protective sealer on your gums, and then they put the whitener on. And then they put an apparatus up against your teeth, and then you have to sit there for about 15 minutes. And then they come back and they do it again. If I remember correctly, I think they did three or four rounds. It's much easier and better and quicker, I think, then doing it at home. I didn't have any problems with discomfort with my gums where the ones over the counter or the kits that you buy, I always had a lot of discomfort with my gums. My gums become very sensitive with it, and I could only do it for so many days in a row because of that, so I didn't get the results that I wanted.

And the Zoom whitening was easy. I had no problems, no discomfort at all with my gums.

Monique H on her GLO Whitening experience Read Transcript

Well that was a separate appointment. I came in and the, I guess his assistant, she applied some gel of some sort on there. Then she had to put a little tray in my mouth. Then it stayed in there for a little while, maybe two or three minutes. Then she took it off. Took it back out, put some more on, put it back in. I think it was about 30 minutes all together. Then, they send you home with a home kit. That's the same thing that you put in your mouth, but it's just not as powerful. The same kind of gel and everything, and you just put it on your teeth every so often. You plug that in and do the cycle.

Beforehand, they took my picture. Then they picked a tooth, a fake tooth, and matched it with the rest of my teeth. They said, "Okay, this is the shade we're gonna go to." Then they painted, she put the stuff on my teeth. It's almost like a gel. She put the gel on the teeth. Then as she was doing it, at the end, she took that tooth that was the sample and she put it up against it. I feel like it's been over time, it gets a little more white, because I kept using the at home version of it.

Monique H on getting her Crowns at Bell Dental Group Read Transcript

I've had many dentists over my lifetime, and this is the first time I ever went to the dentist and I actually felt like he was telling me the truth and not necessarily doing some unnecessary things or things that could not be done, because I had some work that was done that should not have probably been done that way, and now I'm back in this particular situation where I've got to get it fixed. But he's very open and honest about things like this is what we have to do. This is how long it's going to take. I kind of knew what I was getting into.

Before I even came here, he called on the phone before I even became a patient. He called and asked were there things that I wanted to address or things that bothered me about my smile, and I gave him a couple things. When I came in, I had my cleaning and he went over the things that I needed to get fixed, but he suggested that I get the whitening first because there were going to be some crowns involved and he wanted to try to get my smile as good as it could be and match those teeth to the ones that didn't need a crown. So he's totally fixed my left side and I'm waiting on my right side because I've got to pay for it.

So I have to get four crowns. One was cracked. It was a previous crown and it was cracked, so he replaced that one. I had one that just looked bad, and he replaced that one. And then I had two up top that definitely needed, they just needed to be crowned because it was too much decay and things going on with that tooth that it was just better to put a crown on it.

One of the first things I said to Dr. David was about something else, but I said, "I've kind of got used to it." He said, "Well, I don't ever want you to get used to anything that's not the way it's supposed to be." So, I mean, even though that crown wasn't nothing wrong with it functionally, it looked bad, and so he replaced it and I'm happier.

I've always been a smiler, so, but I know that my teeth look good and they're white, and I just think they look better, especially when I look back at pictures now. If I look at a picture that I take now, like, ooh, that looks good.

Mimi D on Invisalign and Veneers at Bell Dental Group Read Transcript

Well I had Invisalign done. I had another pair, I had Veneers on my top teeth, I had some issues with kind of cracking and wearing, and grinding and ... When after high school or during college, I had Veneers done, which just needed to be redone 25 years later probably. But before we did that, he looked at my bite a little bit and wanted to make a few little changes so I did Invisalign. Pretty short amount of time, maybe eight months. I mean I've heard some people have them for two years and whatever, so went came in every other week, every three weeks, I forget what I did.

First couple of days it was a little bit uncomfortable, but then it was fine and easy. Just kept them clean, kept my teeth cleaned, and I did wear them pretty much 24/7. I had braces as a kid. They were much easier to deal with than the braces, for sure. Much more comfortable. And then once the bite was set, he took the old ones off and put caps on my top and Veneers on the bottom.

Since getting the work done on my top and bottom teeth, I've definitely been more confident in my smile. Dr. Dave has gone out of his way for me, like sometimes when you get a crown, the temporary one might fall off, I had that happen on a Saturday before I was going to a party, asked him if he would not mind coming in to meet me here so we could pop it back on, and he did.

Mimi D on Bell Dental Group relieving her Dental Anxiety Read Transcript

I am relatively nervous around the dentist, mainly because getting cavities filled and stuff, the dentist doesn't really know that they've hurt you until it's done, so I'm never sure, is it coming next? Just by coming here often, they've just made me feel better. They know me, they understand how nervous I can be. I came once with a tooth that had cracked, a piece chipped off, and Dr. Dave said, "Why don't you come in about a half an hour early, and we'll give you a Valium so that you can calm yourself down, and I can take a look and you're not going to freak out?" Just that personal, he gets me, and they do an awesome job. The person who cleans my teeth does a fantastic job without killing me, and I like it. I feel like he's very trustworthy. I feel like he's very knowledgeable. I feel like I'm in really good hands when I'm in the chair, like that he does a really thorough, good job.

Matt R on his Dental Emergency that led him to Bell Dental Group Read Transcript

I had a root canal when I was 12, kind of a trapeze bar on a playground accident, knocked out half of my front tooth. I had to get a root canal then. It was a quick fix paste type of situation that I've had most of my life. Then one Friday, I was biting into a bacon burger that I made myself and as soon as that front tooth hit the bacon, for some reason it just broke right off, just immediate pain. This was before I'd ever heard of Bell Dentistry and Dr. Maggie. My girlfriend actually looked up other dentists in the area. What could we do? No one was open. It was Friday night, got ahold of Bell Dentistry and Dr. Maggie was like "I can take you tomorrow morning."

So I came in and they were able to stop the pain, tell me my options, go through everything that I needed to do. It was kind of like "This is something that's probably overdue." That's when I got a crown put on top of that one and then a veneer to match my other tooth, to get my front two teeth to match, which is something that I haven't had most of my life. I used to, as a kid knowing that one of my front teeth was discolored, wouldn't smile as much or would smile with my mouth closed.

Now, definitely after coming to Dr. Maggie, I'm smiling a lot more with a lot more confidence. It's gotta be the best dentist I've ever been to. The entire experience, from walking in to how much they really care about the patients. They remember about me, "Hey, how you doing?," stories that I told them last time. I had problems with the dentist when I was a kid, kind of grew into a fear and now I don't have that at all coming here.

Well, coming in the front door it feels very much like home. They have a great welcoming office staff there. I think those things are key. It doesn't necessarily feel like an office, a doctor's office, let alone a dentist's office. Again, I've had a lot of work so I've been in and out of a lot of different places but this, it just felt more comfortable. You know you come in, there's a bottle of water for you to have as an option. There's not just plastic chairs, it's formal seating. It just feels better and those things may seem like, oh you don't need all of that, but it makes you feel better. It makes you feel more comfortable. It makes you feel like home.

And then like I said before, any time I came back after that, they knew who I was and that means a lot for sure. It makes you feel like a big deal. I'm spending a lot of money, you know? I want to feel like a big deal! And I did. And I felt great and then like I said, I saw him later at a kids' football game, at a high school football game and he called me over and was like, "Hey, how are you feeling? How's it going?" So, it just made me feel comfortable and less like a patient and more like a friend.

Kristen B on getting her Veneers Read Transcript

I had had a lot of dental work throughout the years. I had an implant for a long time. Before that, I have a flipper. I have braces a couple times. I just have been in and out of the dentist a lot throughout my childhood and as an adult. One of the options that he gave me is we could get a permanent implant in there, but then I know that spending that kind of money, it may not have been perfect or my perfect or whatever. I started exploring the option of veneers, and I just took a giant leap, and it is one of the best decisions I have ever made.

You come in, and we had a few consultations as far as that goes, talking about the different options, the different shapes, taking that home with me so I could think about it, coming back where ... What's that? I came in, and we had a date set for a prep, and so I did that. We had temporaries put on. That gave me the option to, again, look at the shape. Although it wasn't exactly what they're going to look like, it was a pretty good indication. I lived with that for a little bit. Then I came in again, and then they did the finals. With that being said, they, again, gave me the option to make any changes that I wanted, but I fell in love with my teeth, and that was that.

Like I said, I come from the cheerleading world. I am a cheerleading coach. I was a cheerleader growing, and now I'm a Cincinnati Bengals cheerleader. I'm meeting people all the time, or even in my sales business that I'm in now, I'm meeting people all of the time, and so there was a sort of insecurity about it. I was in a calendar, and that's the first thing I would look at. A photographer said, "I was going to pick a more serious picture, but I ended up picking your smile, because I knew that that's something that you loved and that you are really, really proud of." It was. It was amazing, and everybody knows it and I felt great about. I do feel great about it.

I have complete upper veneers and then I have lower crowns and I had whitening done on my lower teeth. Well, I was originally unhappy with the way my teeth looked. I had some crowns and had them for a long time, and they needed to be replaced, and I had some bonding done, too. I had some discoloration between the teeth and I wanted them to be more uniform so I decided to go with veneers. It's been about 10 years now and I absolutely love them still to this today.

They're both great, very friendly, outgoing. If you have an emergency, they're always there for you. I was traveling out of town a couple of years ago and I had to be gone for literally almost three to four weeks. While I was traveling, I got a toothache and they called in prescriptions for me and then was able to work me in with another specialty doctor and got it taken care of. They care about you and what you want and how you feel, and they want to make sure they get good results.

Glen W on using Invisalign to fix his teeth grinding Read Transcript

I have a really strong bit, so I was grinding my teeth at night. I came here and got checked. I said, "Hey, you know, what's going on here?" He basically said, "You're grinding your teeth and because you're grinding your teeth, there are potential, in the future, you may have some problems with receding gumline." Initially I was thinking about just getting a night guard for my mouth. He's actually said, "Listen, we'd recommend to not have to deal with the potential of the receding gumline and having a gum graft. You get Invisalign to basically get your teeth to be better aligned." That was the reason for doing Invisalign. The bi-product of that would also be a better smile. You know, the teeth are better aligned. You don't have any of those issues.

Again, it was a really good service. We came in. He did the model. Showed what the potential improvements were, and I'm actually going through the process at the moment now, so I still have I think two or three more weeks of carrying with the trays. And also that I'm getting used to it, just going through two retainers. Again, it's a really easy process. They took us through what to expect, what the various options were, in terms of financing it. Overall, it's been fantastic. Pretty happy with that as well. I'm definitely seeing the results. I'm not grinding as much. I'm also seeing the change in my teeth without having to do the horrible braces that you see some people wearing. It's been fantastic.

Glen W on on his dental work at Bell Dental Group Read Transcript

Well I've had, I think, sort of 10 dentists probably for over 6 different countries. So we're living here at the moment in Cincinnati, and these guys are really good. I found them on the web, came in, had a consultation, and been coming back ever since. They're always professional. They explain, you know, what's going on, what one should expect, and the service is fantastic. The environment is great as well and Dr. Chuck, I mean, he is always spot-on. Always, what I like as well, you come in, you have a treatment, then the next day irrespective of how large or small the treatment has been, he calls you up, "Hey, is everything okay?" gives you his mobile number, you can always get back in touch with him. It's very approachable, very professional.

At the moment I'm doing Invisalign and that's been great. So it's a fantastic service, I would definitely recommend it. It's all about evening up my teeth and the gaps and everything so that's really good. I've had a couple crowns down with him as well. In terms of the smile, we've had a couple of implants with him as well so all-around just a fantastic service. I think for me it wasn't about a cosmetic treatment. It was about having great teeth that would last me for a long time and I won't have any problems. So that was my main concern and the smile thing has sort of been an afterthought after he did all that initial work, so it's been great.

I would definitely, wholeheartedly, 100% recommend their company here. You know, you're going to get a great treatment. It's going to be a friendly interaction both with the staff and with the doctors and I think overall it's probably going to be the best investment you can make in terms of your dental health. So absolutely, I wholeheartedly recommend the practice and Dr. Chuck and the people here as well.

Emily U on Bell Dental Group getting rid of her Dental Anxiety Read Transcript

My dental anxiety came, kind of started when I was just a child because I went to an orthodontist that put my braces on and left them on for almost seven years. And when they came off I had 12 cavities. And they never took them off back in my day to clean your teeth or do anything underneath, and the bands went all around your teeth so you were looking at extensive amount of damage that could have been underneath. So I just got total anxiety after getting the braces off and figuring out that I had 12 cavities that I had to go have drilled, and after that I was just like, "I'm never going back. I don't ever want to go." And I did would go and get my teeth cleaned, but I was always violently afraid of stepping in, and what it was going to cost, and what it was going to be, especially when I was young and on my own.

I just felt really comfortable with Dr. Dave. I was so nervous about everything I did and he just was able to make me relax, make me come in, and get it done. He was going to do me in like four sections, so he was going to divide, because he had to do all the teeth in my had, it wasn't one specific or two specific teeth, or one little section.

He just made it so much easier. You know it was like coming in and it was like friend's week, you know. [inaudible 00:01:12] come in it was like having a cup of coffee with a friend who really cared about what was going on in my life, and making me feel better about what I was doing and why. Like a whole new person, like people are like, "Oh my God, you talk now. You like smile all the time." And I'm like, "Yeah, I would've back then except I was too busy doing this." And then when people say to me, "You've the best smile." I always say, "Bell Dental Group." I mean that's literally the first thing that comes up, Bell Dental Group.

Diane R talking about her Crowns and Veneers Read Transcript

I ate a lot of sugar when I was younger. There were root canals. You know, if you get them a few years apart, you can't always match everything. There were enough, if I had six teeth capped like this in the front, three or four of them were already having root canals, so we decided to deal with that. He suggested it. I said it's a good idea. It took a number of meetings. Then one day, it was a three or four hour meeting. He said, "Can you handle it?" I said, "Yes." We took breaks. But to sit somewhere for four hours and have this done, he puts music on. He'll put television, whatever you want to watch.

To be quite honest, I had a nice smile. You know, it wasn't bad, but they were getting, they had cavities in them, so they were gonna change. With a cap on it, it would be a different color, or something like that. We talked about it and made a decision. Again, I'm a smiler, but it really ... I get a lot of compliments. It really is a wonderful thing to have even colored teeth. He brought me a bunch of different, I don't know what they were, but things that said this is the color I'm looking for. Look at it next to here. Look at it next to that. Even something like, I was just in here for an appointment within the last month and I had to get a crown back here, which nobody sees, but me most of the time. We took a lot of time looking at it. "Does this look right to you?" He'll ask my opinion. That's really, I have opinions, so I like that. You know, it's all matched up back here. I don't know why, but you know. They all look like mine.

I came here after my dentist retired. Dr. took one look at my mouth and said, "Uh oh." So I obviously needed a lot of work. I had to think about that because I wasn't particularly sure that I wanted to go through a lot of work at my age. However, I can't tell you how glad I am that I did that, because he sent me around for gum work, he sent me around for implants. He did all of my teeth, he capped them all. Maybe you can see. Did an absolutely gorgeous job. From having a snaggle tooth smile, I ended up with what I consider to be a really good-looking smile.

I had a little bit of pain in my mouth all the time, and that meant I had some infection in my mouth, which is not a good thing for the body to have. That was another reason why I decided to go ahead with the full treatment. Now I don't have any pain at all in my mouth. So I think that's an important aspect of this. I also would like to comment on the friendliness of being here. There's an atmosphere about the folks who work here that it is a very happy shop. It's a pleasure to come here because everybody is very attentive, they do their job, and it's a very personal kind of a service. I can't tell you how much I appreciate the great job they did for me.

Chuck L on his Veneer process Read Transcript

Well really we talked through different options, Dr. Chuck and I. The intent was to provide a natural smile. To provide something that would look good, but also something that would feel good in the mouth. Something that wouldn't lead to any unnatural activity on my part. You know I still want to brush my teeth twice a day, I don't want to have to do other maintenance activities. I still want to floss the same way. I still want to do those types of things. To try too keep my life as uninterrupted as possible. And at the same time, provide an outward appearance or perception of a naturally appropriate smile. And so, working together on that, we decided that that would be the capping process, or the capping activity to this whole long process, would be to go with veneers.

I used to always have my mouth closed when I smile, and now that's not an issue anymore. I used to not feel real confident in the way my teeth would be colored. And I'm not saying I want to have the white bleach ... I mean those look fake, right? I want a natural tone or color to my teeth, and I think we've accomplished that. Working together to ensure a natural look. Even now, a couple of years later after the veneers, or 18 months after the veneers, I still get compliments on my smile and not by folks who think it's fake.

Chuck L on his Dental Plan with Bell Dental Group Read Transcript

You know, I've been coming here about 12, 13 years now, maybe even a little longer than that. Actually, way longer than that, probably about almost 20 years since I moved to the Cincinnati area. What I enjoy is a couple of things. One, I've got a great relationship with the different folks in the practice. From the folks at the front desk to the hygienist, to obviously the dentist himself. They give sort of a overall composite view of what's going on.

And I've had some challenges and some difficulties with my teeth and the way my jaw is, and those types of things, and so I've always felt really comfortable working with Dr. Chuck, and he's also very patient, so ... We went through ... we formulated a plan to address some of my issues and challenges 10 or 12 or 14 years ago, but ... patiently worked through when was the right time to do some things, at what age are my teeth going to be in the right place to do some things, and at what stage am I risking further damage, those types of things. And so he's just been really patient in working with me on not only the plan, but timing of the plan and how we could work together to do that.

What I feel like the most important thing when you're deciding on a hygienist is I want to know that they can do the basic, core things, the preventative maintenance type of things, well and without challenges. This place nails it. And then when those opportunities arise, whether they're challenging or not, of things that aren't in your everyday arsenal of dentistry, that you can feel confident and comfortable and that they can accomplish those as well, and I think my teeth are a testament to that.

Anne B on deciding to do Invisalign at Bell Dental Group Read Transcript

Well, I came mainly because they do Invisalign. My other dentist had recommended that my teeth were just all starting to crowd together, and that it made sense to think about it. I was kind of like, "Ah, maybe, maybe." And I went to a few places just to check out doing Invisalign. That dentist didn't do it. And then I heard Maggie was coming her
